See Aviculture at its Best in a Tropical setting! 


The OPA cordially invites all for an educational day of Aviary Farm Tours! Enjoy a day touring 4 Aviculturist’s Farms, topped off with a “Taste of the Tropics” Dinner coupled with OPA updates on CITES, Raffles, Auctions and FUN! 


Our Tour Buses will pick up at the Marriott and travel to Tony Silva’s Farms + 3 others working commercial aviaries.


See aviary set ups, focus species, plants and fauna!


End the day with a “Taste of the Tropics” dinner, drinks, and avian camaraderie at a Florida Tropical Garden!
Also, our OPA Legal Team will give updates on progress with CITES, ESA, and other legislative issues.

The Avicultural Society of America (ASA) will be holding its annual convention in Miami from October 30-November 2, 2019. If you have not planned to attend, register now as the list of speakers is fantastic. On November 3 the OPA (Organization of Professional Aviculturists) will be organizing an aviary tour that includes a visit to 4 Aviaries. The day will culminate with food, drinks and a talk by OPA board members and legal counsel David Garcia.
